Breakfast
Coconut Yogurt and fruit bowl
Here are some topping ideas:
Fruit: fresh, frozen or dried
Nut butter or seed butter
Nuts or seeds
Cacao nibs
Flaked or shredded coconut
Cacao
Sweetener if desired: raw honey, maple syrup, pure stevia, monk fruit
Dates
Oats or granola
Cinnamon
Chia seeds, Hemp seeds, Flaxseeds, Raw buckwheat kernels
Drink
Lemon/Ginger Detox drink
2.5 cups boiling water
1 lemon cut into slices
2.5cm piece of fresh ginger, sliced
1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric
pinch of black pepper or cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons raw honey (optional)
let it steep for 30 minutes
strain and drink at room temperature or reheat (but don’t bring to boil)
alternatively let it cool and add ice for iced tea!
Dinner
Mashed potatoes With mushrooms And brussels sprout
Slice brussel sprouts in half and sauté with olive oil, garlic and sea salt.
Squeeze lemon over the brussel sprouts and let them brown.
Slice the mushrooms, toss them in olive oil, sea salt and garlic.
Place the mushrooms on baking paper and cook them in the oven.
Place the brussel sprouts and mushrooms on a bed of mashed potatoes and enjoy!
